LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – If you happened to have watched the LSU vs. Kentucky game, you may have noticed a familiar face behind the Cats’ bench.

Papa John Schnatter was spotted sitting behind Coach Cal and crew, sporting UK garb.

It's was a different look for Schnatter, who was often seen in red and black in support of the University of Louisville and their athletic programs. He was also a former trustee.

It didn't take long for social media to notice.

Papa John appears to have dropped Louisville almost as fast as they dropped him,” a tweet posted by RedditCFB said.

“I feel awful for whatever sock hop Papa John is headed to after this,” Card Chronicle founder Mike Rutherford said, referencing Schnatter’s 50’s inspired hair.

One user even made light of Papa John's slogan while being shady towards UofL basketball.

It’s been 7 months since the UofL officials removed Schnatter’s name from Cardinal Stadium following the fallout of him using a racial slur.

However, Schnatter does have ties to UK.

His father graduated from the university in 1953.
