LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- It wasn't Santa delivering presents today at Norton Children's Hospital but instead, some of Kentuckiana's finest.

Members of the River City FOP and Jeffersontown FOP visited the hospital, delivering gifts to every single patient.

This is the 20th year for the Christmas Program and officers we spoke to say it's one of their favorites each year.

“What we do for a living is being there for folks in the community, and this is just really a wonderful, heartwarming way for us to be there for these kids. People talk about bravery with police officers and law enforcement. A lot of times for us, it's really humbling for us to see the bravery in the faces of the kids here,” LMPD Officer Nicolai Jilek, said. The gifts are provided by the FOP lodges along with various community partners.
