LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Each year fallen police officers are honored in the nation’s capital at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.
This year, Metro Police Officer Nick Rodman will be included.
Officer Rodman was killed in a crash during a pursuit in March 2017.
LMPD officials submitted the request for his addition and it was approved for the memorial.
His name will be engraved on the memorial.
The dedication will be held May 13 in Washington D.C.
