OLDHAM COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11) - It's described as a horror comedy rock musical, and it's coming to the Kentuckiana stage. Oldham County High School is putting on Little Shop of Horrors this weekend.

The cast and crew includes dozens of students. They’ve been hard at work for months putting the production together.

“Everyone here genuinely loves what they’re doing. I think I speak for probably the entire cast when I saw we’re all here because this is something that we’ve done, and we’re dedicated to," Morgan Jemtrud, who plays Crystal, said. “We’re together on so much of the show to make it a reality. So, it’s not a one-woman or one-man show . It’s definitely a team effort. I think that we’re really pulling it off and having a lot of fun doing it.”

“My favorite part is definitely the finale because there’s going to be a lot of energy. It’s just so punk and awesome," Shelby Nasser, who plays Ronnette, said.

“We don’t usually get to do soulful, jazzy music. So, it’s a lot of fun. We get to be really sassy and take on a whole different demeanor," Haley Cuzik, who plays Chiffon, said.

The performances start Thursday, and there are plenty of opportunities to see it:
