LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) – A mural at Slugger Museum was unveiled on Tuesday to help honor Muhammad Ali and Hank Aaron.

The idea started with a quote from Ali that said the only person he admired more than himself was Hank Aaron.

Louisville Artist Victor Sweatt put the finishing touches on the mural that couples Ali and Aaron with the question, what Freedoms do you fight for and what beliefs do you go to bat for?

The mural goes from past Civil Rights struggles to current ones with important historical figures along the way.

The artist said Ali and Aaron go far beyond their respective sports.

Guests to the Museum are also being asked to contribute to the mural. Guests are being asked what beliefs they would fight for and there is space to add it to the mural.

The mural is up through Oct. 8.
