Mom makes threat to blow up high school, police say

The woman is charged with terroristic threatening.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A threat made towards Doss High School led to the arrest of a student’s mother, Piqueeshia Swain.

Swain is charged with terroristic threatening after she allegedly threatened to blow up the school.

According to the police, Swain’s teenage son got in trouble with the school and wasn't allowed to return until he completed an assessment with the school board.

When he showed up on campus without completing the assessment, he was taken to the Safe Place on Crittenden Drive. That's when school officials called Swain and she allegedly made the threats.

Her bond is set at $2,500.
