LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) -- Flights to and from the Louisville International Airport were impacted by the blackout in Atlanta.

Earlier on Monday, several passengers who talked to WHAS11 said they rented cars in Atlanta and drove to Louisville to get a flight.

One passenger, Hannah Stark, says she was just trying to get home to Alaska but was met at the airport by chaos.

“Getting to Atlanta we come to found out the whole airport was shut down. There's lines everywhere we're waiting and waiting and waiting there's no updates and nine hours later they finally canceled the flight,” Stark said.
