Lawsuit filed over 2015 Whiskey Row fire

They claim that Sullivan and Cozart is refusing to pay for more than 2.5 million dollars in damages caused by the fire.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Two and a half years after a massive fire destroyed three buildings on Louisville's famed Whiskey Row the group of investors who are preserving the historic block have filed a lawsuit.

The partnership of investors known as 'Main Street Revitalization, LLC' filed the suit today. It names

the general contractor Sullivan & Cozart, Inc and its insurance company, Cincinnati Insurance.

They claim that Sullivan and Cozart is refusing to pay for more than 2.5 million dollars in damages caused by the fire.

We reached out to Sullivan and Cozart for a statement on the suit but have not heard back.
