Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Protesters were out in force in Louisville Saturday night, echoing a common cry across the country: Black lives matter.
A crowd gathered on 4th Street Live late Saturday night. Protesters held signs that read "Black lives matter, Shame on 4th street."
The protests were in regards to what many call an unlawful arrest last summer of a black man for the clothes he was wearing. 4th Street Live banned baggy pants and bandannas, a move critics said was designed to keep black people away.
