LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Supporters of President Donald Trump gathered around the nation Saturday, including Kentuckiana, to show their support for his presidency.
The March 4 Trump rally was their peaceful response to the hundreds of anti-Trump rallies that have taken place since he first took office.
The supporters in Frankfort were looking to spread a strong message and stick behind the man they all voted for.
Judy Brown led a caravan to Frankfort and said it was time for “their side” to make some noise.
“We just wanted to make our presence known – make sure they know we’re still here. We don’t wanna be quiet because some of the other folks who don’t like Trump are really being noisy and we just wanna make sure they know we’re still here and support the man.
There were also those who counter-protested in response to the rally.
No violence was reported locally.
Rallies also took place in Nashville, New York and at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
