LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A new partnership is making it easier for Kentuckiana students to get a four-year degree.

Jefferson Community and Technical College and Indiana University Southeast signed an out of state "special status" transfer agreement. That agreement will allow JCTC students to transfer seamlessly to IUS to get their bachelor's degree after completing an associate’s.

Students who transferred to IUS from JCTC will also be able to apply their credits toward an unfinished associate’s degree.
