JCPS Board accepts Benjamin Gies resignation

Gies was a board member who represented District 4.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Jefferson County Board of Education has accepted the resignation of member Benjamin Gies.

Gies, who represents District 4, is leaving to take a new position as policy principal at Kentucky Youth Advocates.

The Board will now begin the process of selecting his replacement from a pool of applicants.
