LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Hundreds of veterans and their families marked Veteran’s Day in Crawford County, Indiana by dedicating a new memorial Saturday.
Three World War II veterans placed a wreath at the new monument.
Dr. Milton Roggenkamp served in the Navy – Rupert Smith fought in Italy and Bob Roberts served aboard the U.S.S. Helena.
The memorial honors branches of the service and has engraved bricks honoring those who fought and died for the country.
The memorial is located in English, Indiana in front of the courthouse on Highway 64.
