SEYMOUR, Ind. (WHAS11) – There are new developments in the case of a dog that was shot multiple times with a BB gun.
Seymour Police Chief Bill Abbott said officers were investigating that case and executed a search warrant on a home where Timothy Woodard lives.
Police charged Woodard with marijuana and meth possession but say he is a suspect in the animal cruelty case.
No charges have been filed in the shooting of that English Mastiff named Jackson.
Doctors said Jackson has more than 50 wounds from those BBs.
They also said if Jackson's owner had not taken him to the vet when they did, the BBs could have caused future infections.
