CLARK COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) – In a 6 to 1 vote, the Greater Clark County School board voted to pursue a $15 million bond for a new Jeffersonville School.

The school would be built downtown at Court and Migs Avenues and accommodate students from Maple and Spring Hill Elementary.

The site has caused concern for parents because of how close it is to the Clark County Government Center.

People going to court and inmates being released from jail were among the issues residents brought up.
