Honor Flight Bluegrass pays tribute to veterans with D-Day 75th Anniversary Gratitude Week

The first Honor Flight of 2019 is scheduled for May 28, 2019, nine days before the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion that took place on June 6, 1944.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Honor Flight Bluegrass announced a D-Day week of appreciation in the summer of 2019. The group announced two big events to pay tribute to the veterans we still have with us.

The first Honor Flight of 2019 is scheduled for May 28, 2019, nine days before the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion that took place on June 6, 1944.

Honor Flight Bluegrass will also hold "D-Day 75th Gratitude Week" to honor and pay tribute to WWII Veterans June 3-7.

In addition, the group will be encouraging all individuals, businesses, and organizations to honor WWII Veterans during this special week.
