BULLITT CO., Ky. (WHAS11) -- A special election will be held Tuesday, February 20 in Bullitt County for House District 49.
Rebecca Johnson (R) is running against Linda Belcher (D) to see who will fill the remaining term of former House Representative Dan Johnson, who took his own life in December 2017.
To see if you’re eligible to vote and where your precinct is, we’ve provided the following instructions.
First – go to https://elect.ky.gov/Pages/default.aspx
From there, you’ll see this screen. Follow the red arrow and click ‘Find my polling place’ in the right-hand column.
It will bring you to the next page, where you will need to fill in your first name, last name and birthday ONLY.
From there, you should see your name and address, as well as your precinct information. At the very bottom of the page, you’ll see your House District listed.
If House District 49 is listed, you’re eligible to vote on Tuesday in the special election. Polls close at 6 p.m.
