Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Kentucky Court of Appeals has reversed a Jefferson County judge's ruling involving Governor Bevin's fight against Planned Parenthood.

The state filed a suit last year against Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky because its Louisville facility performed nearly two dozen abortions in December 2015 and January 2016 without a license.

The Jefferson County Court ruled the Bevin suit did not have merit. However, on December 15, the State Appellate Court ruled the administration can continue to sue for monetary penalties against Planned Parenthood.
