DANVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A group of students at Centre College in Danville are participating in a demonstration on campus. The students are staging a sit-in at the Old Centre building.
According to the Alumni and family engagement office, the students are seeking to continue a dialogue about diversity and inclusion on campus. They outlined their concerns in a statement shared with the school earlier this week.
The schools released a statement saying, “President John Roush respects the students' passion and leadership surrounding this important conversation and is meeting with student leaders at this time."
