(WHAS 11)--A Louisville metro police officer is recovering after a crash overnight.
Metro Police tell us the officer was driving on Rangeland between Taylorsville and Poplar Level when he lost control and hit a pole.
He was taken to University hospital with minor injuries.
The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating.
