LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Absentee voting is officially underway in Jefferson County.

It is designed for those who will be out of town or unavailable on Election Day, November 8, including out of town students, poll workers and expectant mothers in their last trimester.

County Clerk Bobbie Holsclaw says they're expecting a good turnout this year for both absentee and regular voting.
