LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Metro Police are investigating two separate shootings that happened within block of each other, according to MetroSafe.
The first shooting happened in the 1400 block of Hemlock Street in the Park Duvalle neighborhood around 7:18 p.m.
Officers said the victim in that shooting was found at First and Chestnut Streets. It’s unclear how the victim was transported to that location.
A short time later around 7:22 p.m., police responded to the 2400 block of Garland Avenue in the Parkland neighborhood. Officers found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Both shootings are within a mile of each other.
Police have not given any indication if either shooting is related.
The conditions of both victims are not known at this time.
