LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- New developments are made in cancer research every day, and now, a new program in Kentuckiana is focusing on life after cancer. Studies show 53 percent of adult cancer survivors experience at least one physical impairment caused by treatment.
KORT clinics throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana have launched what they call the Re-Vital program. Through the Re-Vital program, doctors and therapists work with patients through those side effects like fatigue, loss of mobility and cognitive changes.
