LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) – A shooting in the Smoketown neighborhood injured four people.
The shooting happened on Jacob and Clay Streets, near downtown, at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
LMPD says a man and three women appear to have non-life threatening injuries. LMPD says the male victim went to University Hospital by private vehicle after suffering a graze wound due to a shot being fired.
A woman who knows the victims didn't want to be identified but says it's unfortunate people can't walk the streets without the threat of being targeted.
All four victims indicated they had been sitting on the front porch of a residence when gunshots were fired from an unknown direction, according to LMPD.
LMPD has not released the ages of those who were shot.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
The shooting happened in the same area where 14-year-old Troyvonte Hurt was shot and killed in a drive-by August.
