Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A man could be facing charges of driving under the influence after allegedly hitting a bicyclist and killing her.
The accident happened just before 1 a.m. on April 21.
Officers believe the man driving a Ford Explorer was traveling north in the 13000 block of Dixie Highway in the slow lane when he struck a female bicyclist who was also in the slow. She was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Reports indicate the driver remained on the scene. LMPD is still investigating this incident.
No names have been released in this case.
