Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Police have made two more arrests in connection to the shooting near the Observation Wheel on April 12.
Thomas G. Nelson, 18, and Tajuan M. McDowell, 18, are facing first-degree assault charges. The third arrest was a juvenile. His name and charges will not be released.
According to arrest reports, the suspects were identified by the shooting victim Keion Deshawn Page, 19. Officers said they were also caught on several cameras at the Big Four Bridge.
Officers responded to multiple calls of shots fired near the Observation Wheel on April 12. Police reported one male, Page, was grazed by a bullet. His injuries were non-life threatening, and no one else was hurt.
According to reports, when officers arrived on the scene, they observed Page emerge from the trees near the open field west of the wheel. That's when officers said the suspect ran, initiating a pursuit on foot.
Once in custody, the suspect is reported to have said he was fired at and then shot back.
The gun suspected of being used in the shooting, along with the suspect's sweatshirt, was discovered in the treeline. Police said the gun was confirmed to have been stolen from a pawn shop in Shepherdsville.
Page faces charges of receiving stolen property and evading police.
McDowell and Nelson were arrested on April 19. Reports indicate a bag of what police believe to be heroin was found in the backseat of the suspect's car. Nelson was also reportedly found with a gun on his preson.
LMPD said they believe the incident was gang-related.
