"Deadliest Catch" star Sig Hansen pleaded guilty Wednesday to a misdemeanor assault charge following an alleged fight with an Uber driver last year. A destruction of property charge was dismissed.

According to court documents, the driver picked up Hansen and three others in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood on May 18, 2017. There was an argument over payment. The driver says Hansen spit at him and kicked a dent in the side of the car.

Hansen was arrested in Shoreline hours later and booked into King County Jail for assault and property destruction.

After the incident, Hansen tweeted an apology, saying, "I am terribly sorry for my behavior and am very embarrassed by it."
