Texas Roadhouse hosts hiring event for more than 140 Louisville jobs

Texas Roadhouse, Jaggers and Bubba's 33 are all hiring.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Texas Roadhouse announced the company is hosting its first-ever hiring event to fill more than 140 positions full and part-time positions at Louisville locations as the state nears 100% capacity at bars and restaurants.

Applicants can reserve an in-person interview time online before going to each participating location Monday, June 7. Texas Roadhouse, Jaggers and Bubba's 33 are all hiring.

In 2020, Texas Roadhouse said it spent more than $20 million in COVID pay, relief and bonuses for employees. During the pandemic, former CEO Kent Taylor announced he would forgo his base salary and incentive bonuses through January 2021 to assist hourly restaurant employees.

There are four Texas Roadhouse locations in Louisville, the city where the company is headquartered. Clarksville is also home to a location.

Bubba's 33 serves a menu including pizza, burgers and beer. There is one location in Clarksville. Jaggers most recently opened a location in Louisville.

Anyone can reserve an in-person interview online at Texas Roadhouse's website.

Several other businesses are hiring ahead of Kentucky ending its mask mandate and capacity limits. More than a dozen NuLu businesses are hosting a hiring event May 24 from 4 to 7 p.m., while Caesars Southern Indiana is hosting a drive-thru job fair May 27.
