LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) -- The ghouls of Halloween are out early this year at the Waverly Hills Haunted Complex. They are scaring up cash for the WHAS Crusade for Children.

For the 14th year the former tuberculosis sanatorium at Waverly Hills has been transformed into a ghoulish spectacle. This year prehistoric creatures like T-Rex bring the screams.

"Hey, the new thing at Waverly is my friends back here. We found a couple of eggs and hatched them out. They're doing pretty good," Charlie Mattingly, master of madness at Waverly Hills, said.

Starting Friday, Sept. 25, the Waverly Hills Haunted Complex will be open every Friday and Saturday night through October 31. Admission is $20 and part of the proceeds go to the WHAS Crusade for Children. For more information click here
