Louisville arch-diocese asked to speak out against ordained minister convicted of child molestation

(WHAS11) - The Louisville arch-diocese is being asked to speak out against a newly ordained minister convicted of child molestation.

A local group of clergy abuse survivors delivered a letter to the archbishop, asking him to publicly condemn the City of Refuge Worship Center.

The Refuge Worship Center ordained Mark Hourigan as a minister on September 13th.

Hourigan served nearly five years in jail for charges of sodomy, sexual abuse and intimidation of an eleven-year-old boy.
