'Jesus and a Job' helping restore the community
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS 11)--The completion of Muhammad Ali's boyhood home has not only drawn enormous crowds but has also provided steady work for those who helped restore it.
One of the main organizations to work on the renovated house at 3302 Grand Avenue was Jesus and Job which helps those with felonies or a troubled past receive steady work.
That group is apart of King Soloman Missionary Baptist Church where the then,Cassius Clay, was a member before switching to Islam.
Reverend Charles Elliott says he's received tons of calls from other organizations and businesses that are requesting Jesus and a Job to work on other projects since they did a great job on this now historic landmark.
